What Makes Mitra Special
Most tutoring tools know one thing well. Mitra knows three.
Subject Expertise
Mitra researches each subject: the material, how it progresses, and the evidence on how to teach it. Our subject and topic knowledge is derived from researching Common Core State Standards and International Baccalaureate curriculum expectations. Not just what the answer is, but the best way to explain it.
How Your Kid Thinks
Mitra studies how cognitive differences like ADHD affect learning, and gets to know your child over time. What clicks for them, what doesn't, how they engage. Every session builds on the last.
On Their Phone, On Their Time
10 to 15 minute sessions, anytime, right on their phone. Mitra knows it's teaching over text and makes that a strength, not a limitation.

Every session starts the same way: "Hey, how's it going?" The tutor asks about their day, what they're into, what's bugging them. This isn't small talk — it's the whole method.
For kids with ADHD, the relationship with the tutor IS the intervention. If a session looks like "just chatting" — that means it's working. Kids don't learn from people they don't trust.
Your kid will learn more from a tutor they actually want to talk to.
It's not just about homework
If your kid comes in talking about a bad day, a fight with a friend, or just feeling off — the tutor rolls with it. No "sorry, I can only help with schoolwork."
For kids with ADHD, there's no clean line between "school stuff" and "life stuff." Forcing that boundary just kills trust. The tutor listens, validates, and steers back to learning when the moment is right.
The only hard line is safety — if the tutor picks up on anything concerning, you'll hear from us immediately.
You'll tell us which subjects your kid needs help with. We use those as starting points — but if they get fired up about something else, the tutor goes with it. A productive session on any topic is a win. Your weekly summary tells you exactly what they worked on.
- Sessions happen on Telegram — your kid texts the tutor like they'd text a friend. WhatsApp is available for existing testers only.
- Messages are short — 2-4 sentences max. No walls of text. ADHD brains don't need more.
- One idea at a time. No information dumps.
- The tutor reads your kid's energy. Locked in? Let's go. Goofing around? Stay light, find the opening.
- Most sessions run 10-15 minutes. Short and focused beats long and lost.
- Every complete session ends on a win — even on a rough day.
What we measure (and what we don't)
No grades. No test scores. We track growth signals: Is your kid more willing and able to try harder problems? Are they staying in sessions longer? Coming back on their own? That's what matters.
You see progress summaries, not conversation content. That's on purpose.
Your kid needs a space where they can say "I don't get this" or "today sucked" without worrying you're reading over their shoulder. That safety is what makes the tutoring work. If there's ever a real safety concern, you hear from us immediately.
When we contact you
- Milestones: When your kid hits a learning goal or makes real progress.
- Weekly summaries: What your kid worked on, what clicked, and how they're engaging — including when they picked a different subject than what you signed up for.
- Safety concerns: If the tutor picks up on anything suggesting self-harm, abuse, or danger — you get an immediate notification. Automated and instant.
Mitra is early. We're honest about that — here's what it means:
- Telegram only for new enrollments. Register on this site first, then search for @Mitradhdbot on Telegram to start chatting. WhatsApp is available for existing test families only.
- AI-curated research. Teaching strategies are AI-researched and quality-reviewed. Expert human review is underway.
- Designed for ADHD. Built specifically for how ADHD brains work. During testing, we're inviting all kinds of learners to help us improve.
- Engagement comes first. The tutor builds rapport before diving into academics. If it looks like chatting, that's the pedagogy working — not goofing off.
Use it as much or as little as they want
No usage cap. If your kid wants to text their tutor every day, great. Once a week? Also fine.
If usage grows beyond what we can sustain, we'll talk to you first. We might adjust frequency, ask you to contribute more, or just absorb the cost.
We will never cut your kid off without talking to you first.
Pricing
₩50,000/month (South Korea) or $35/month (USA). That's less than it costs us to run — we're subsidizing it because we need real kids using this to make it better.
Payment: KakaoPay or Venmo — details will be provided when we confirm your enrollment.
